Pride Parade - Sunday June 24, 10-2 Marching

Happy Pride everyone

Janus will be marching with the Leather Contingent, and we have two Janus officers who will be bringing the banner to the staging area.

If you've never marched in the Pride Parade, it's a feeling like no other. Marching up Market Street in front of a half million cheering people is inspiring. The walk is easy and takes about a half hour from when you depart the staging area to when you'll finish at Eighth Street.

Here's the info you need:
• The Leather Contingent number is #186.
• Our Assembly Area is L - Beale Street between Mission St. & Howard St.
• When you get to our Assembly Area, Monitor Captains will direct you to your lineup space. Look for the Janus banner.
• Marchers do not have to be there until 10:00 AM.
• Clear Channel will televise the entire Pride Parade this year!
• There will be a short ceremony at 10:00 AM to introduce the 2012 Leather Marshals - Leland Carina and Race Bannon.
