About our program:
Have you been to a party or class and noticed that hot person across the room who also happens to have a disability? Not quite sure how to ask questions or how to flirt with the "elephant in the room?" Please join the Society of Janus for a discussion of kink and disability. The goal of this panel is to generate conversation on how to make the community more inclusive and comfortable for everyone. Topics will include: meeting, negotiating and playing with someone with a disability, sex and disability, and considerations to take into account regarding people with disabilities. The panel will consist of both a moderated discussion and a question and answer session, so please feel free to come with questions for our panelists.

About our panelists:
boyjean has been been involved in his Leather journey for almost 20 years and has identified as a boy for as long as he can remember. He has the privilege and honor of serving his Sir/Daddy over the past 10 years and regards service as a passion that comes from the heart. he and his partner are poly and have had a rewarding and exciting relationship for more than 25 years. he is a coordinator with Leather Traditions a group providing educational workshops in San Francisco, a board member of the International Leather Sir/boy and International Community Bootblack contests, and participates with the Northern California Bootblacks organization. he is a past titleholder as Northern California Community Bootblack 2007 and International Community Bootblack 2007. In his non-Leather life he is a licensed clinical psychologist and has worked with people with disabilities throughout his career.

Phil Lindo, aka “Pup Spunky”, is a 36 y/o resident of Berkeley Ca. who lives with his Master, Master Richard Sprott. Spunky has been legally blind for most of his life. Spunky held the title of SF Leather Daddy's boy XXIII along with Master Richard as SF Leather Daddy XXIII. In 2005, Spunky held the title of SF Leather Daddy's boy XXIII along with Master Richard as SF Leather Daddy XXIII. In the fall of 2005, Spunky founded a social group called The SF K9 Unit. Along with some of the other pack members, Spunky has gone on to organize "Woof Camp" at IML and Puppy Park held here in San Francisco. In 1995, Spunky was elected Empress XVIII of Monterey and Santa Cruz. Yes, Spunky is also a drag-queen known as “Empress Amber Dee-ole”. Spunky is also working on finishing a double major and is also a proud member of Phi Theda Kappa, an academic society.

Benjy Sheen is a non-voting member of the patriarchal hegemony of privileged cisgenders who fuck with a limp. He also leads manager training workshops and takes pictures at nightclubs.

About our Moderator: Kemi has been floating around the fringes of the BDSM community since she arrived in San Francisco in 2005. She is on the Board of Directors for the Center for Sex and Culture and is one of the current Program Directors for the Society of Janus. It has been her pleasure to bring together this panel.
