Janus presents: A leather workshop: Make Your Own Leather Restraints!

About the workshop:
This is a hands-on workshop where you will make your own leather restraints.



**Dominants: Nothing impresses a submissive more than a display of competence and creativity.

**Submissives: Few things show your devotion to the practice of submission more than crafting an implement with your own hands.



Why buy something someone else has made, when you can make your very own to use with play partners? Personally made toys add that special “touch” ;-)



This is for those who are completely new to leatherworking or who have limited experience. We will learn the basic skills needed to make simple wrist restraints.

If there’s interest, we will organize future classes to build on those skills. The skills you learn in this class can be built upon in later classes to make different types of cuffs, collars, leashes, paddles, floggers, corsets, etc - only your imagination is the limit!

About the Presenter:


Cal (RoughcutLeather on Fetlife) has several years of experience in teaching leatherwork classes on a weekly basis as manager of Tandy Leather Factory in Union City. Cal enjoys making and teaching others how to make leather cuffs, collars, leashes, paddles, floggers, corsets, etc. He loves to see the look on a friend's face when they see their new toy and start thinking of the possibilities!



About the Society of Janus:

The Society of Janus is a not-for-profit, all volunteer, San Francisco-based education and support organization devoted to the art of hot, safe, consensual and non-exploitative BDSM.

The SOJ provides an opportunity to meet others with similar interests in a safe, relaxed atmosphere.

Janus is an organization open to persons of all genders, sexual orientations, roles, and experience levels. Janus also provides a chance to get involved with the greater SF Bay Area BDSM community.

Please note: You do not need to be a member to attend. Janus Programs are open to all attendees 18 years of age and older who have a personal, positive interest in BDSM.



The program runs from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm., but it may run over depending on the drying time for the restraints.
