Janus Kinky Movie Night - Wednesday Jan 11, 8pm
"A DANGEROUS METHOD"
Wednesday January 11, 8pm
Kabuki Sunday Cinema
Auditorium 8 (Screening Room)
1881 Post St., SF

Every once in a while a film comes out that's really fun for kinksters. So why not get together with a bunch of folks who will all get the punch lines?
Please come out with other Janus kinksters for a night at the Kabuki Theatre in SF for "A Dangerous Method," which has a whole lot of kinky sex in it. Our kind of movie!

Here's what one review said:
This is the story of three people, Sigmund Freud (Viggio Mortensen)...Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) and their extraordinary, patient/associate, Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley) who eventually came between them.
When the film begins, Sabrina comes to see Jung in his clinic in Zurich. To say Sabrina is a total psychological and physical wreck, is being kind... Poor girl can't stop convulsing and obsessing about masturbation.
Now the film isn't only about the clash of ideas...There's also alot of hot, kinky sex as well.

Janus members:
You can show up at the Kabuki Wednesday night and buy a ticket ($11.50) or get advanced tickets online here (look in the upper left for "Buy Reserved Seats"). You even get to pick your seat in advance!

This is a small screening room that only holds 60 folks. The film has been drawing well, but may be leaving soon.
Kinky Movie Nights are a great way to meet others in Janus and also see how the movie community views our lifestyle.
Hope to see you all there.

Guerilla Social Event folks
Note: You do not have to be a Janus member to attend. But there may be surprises.

(From another review):
Make sure you stay for the credits to find out how Sabrina, Jung and Freud's fate was affected when monsters came to power in their part of the world.
(From another Janus officer who has seen the film):
We've seen the movie, and yes, it would definitely be a good Janus outing --- er, that is, social event.
For those who are into cinema, this is by David Cronenberg, the director who made the 1996 film Crash, one of my favorite fetish movie (with James Spader): google it.
We even managed to get a press kit for those who like to know everything about a film
