You must be at least 18 years of age and have a personal interest in BDSM to join the Society of Janus. Regularly occurring opportunities to become a member of the Society of Janus include the following:
In-Person Orientation Events
Attend an in-person orientation or come to a Newcomer Crash Course to learn more about the organization and ask any questions you might have in a safe, inviting venue.
Social Munches/Happy Hours
Come socialize with our members and volunteers at social events all over the Bay Area. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a member or not!
Take an Online Orientation
Online orientation is an option that is generally available now to everyone. It is quick and easy, can be done any time, and you don't have to leave your chair!

Membership for a single person currently costs $50 per year. The discounts on classes, retailers, parties, and conferences allow you to earn back your membership dollars very, very quickly. Along with free, exclusive entry into our annual Membership Appreciation Party, there has never been a better time to join SOJ and help us support the community!
